If Real Madrid had a child that gives them joy and high blood pressure at the same time, his name is Vinicius Junior.
This boy can dribble your entire village and still miss an open net. That is why fans love him and haters cannot ignore him.
Let's talk facts because gist without facts na gossip.
Vinicius has scored 20 plus goals for 5 straight seasons in a white shirt. 22 goals in 21/22, 23 goals in 22/23, 24 goals in 23/24, 22 goals in 24/25, and 22 goals again in 25/26 with 14 assists. Which other winger is doing that kind of consistency?
Last season alone in La Liga, 36 games, 16 goals, 6 assists. Champions League, 5 goals, 7 assists in 12 games. For Brazil at the 2026 World Cup, 4 goals in 5 matches. This is not a fluke, na pattern.
Among all Brazilian players in Europe last season, Vinicius was number 1 for key passes (65), successful dribbles (87), and fouls won (76). Translation: defenders cannot catch him, so they kick him.
Yes, this season 2026/27 his finishing has gone on vacation. Conversion rate dropped from 19.5% to 4%. Even his own shadow is defending him well. But Real Madrid does not care.
On August 6, 2026, Madrid did the most romantic thing - they gave him a contract extension till 2032 and told Arsenal to carry their money and go. If you reject Arsenal money in this economy, you truly love somebody.
Vinicius is not perfect. He argues, he dances, he shouts, he scores. But that is why he wears the famous No.7. Number 7 was never for quiet boys. From Best to Cantona to Ronaldo to Vinicius, 7 is for chaos.
And Madrid loves chaos, as long as it wins them trophies.
