Google has made it clear that it's working on how to expand its two-step verification (2SV) process. This is being meant for enhancing the security accounts and logins.
This process has been introduced due to the two-step verification initiative experiencing a 50 per cent loss in account breaches for 150 million Gmail and two million YouTube account developers accounts under the 2SV initiative.
The 2SV initiative has introduced the use of electronic communication devices to identify the person using the device every time one accesses their Google account from a different device.
This will also enhance security threats on the user's account. This will be possible after updating the password every time the users log in.
