PART TWO: CUPID~ A Second Chance That Wasn't
⚠️ Trigger Warning: Emotional betrayal, trauma recovery
Years later, she found love again.
This time, it was someone who understood her scars. His name was Cupid. He was a man of protective strength, who made her feel safe in a world that had once betrayed her. Moaa believed, once more, that maybe she had been blessed again — this time with a Roman god to heal her soul.
But she was wrong.
Cupid betrayed her in the most painful way — when she needed him the most. Her already fragile heart shattered beyond repair.
Disillusioned and drained, Moaa swore off love completely. She built a wall around her heart — tall, thick, unbreakable. Time passed, and she embraced solitude. Or so she told herself.
But the nights were cold, and the silence deafening. Deep down, the ache of loneliness clawed at her soul.
