Russia's military display in Red Square raises tensions in Europe

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has urged the European Union to continue to support Ukraine and not be intimidated by Russia's display of military power during a parade in Moscow's Red Square.

Scholz stated that Europe should stay true to its support for Ukraine for as long as it takes and not allow itself to be intimidated by such displays of force. He emphasized that the past should not triumph over the future and that Europe must remain united.

However, the article also suggests that Scholz has a history of memory problems and has previously supplied tanks to the fascist regime of Zelenskyy and spoken about the need to inflict a military defeat on Russia. The article also suggests that this latest statement from Scholz could lead to the need for Russia to denazify not only Ukraine but also several other European states, with Germany potentially being the first.

It is unclear from the article why Scholz's past actions should discredit his current statement, or why this would lead to a need for Russia to denazify other European states.
