We even used to attacked one another on various media platform for the sake of Nigeria's division or restructuring. Unfortunately, among the recognised individuals or groups that intensify the movement, non of them fullfil any criteria for such claim.
However, those who fullfil the criteria for the agitation were either part of the government or are dreaming about winning the power through electoral process.
The whole thing has its roots from the sharing of national cake and fake interest of both region and religion. While at their angles leaders from all sides were attending events of one another. Moreover, they feel at ease when you look at their faces at one occasion or the other. I don't know if they don't value that indoctrinated philosophy we always hung to as our most recognition and means for actualisation (tribalism/regionalism)
I wonder what will happen to Ijaws from whom the largest quantity of the crude oil is being drill and major reason for the upheavals in Nigeria. When the country is divided into two or more possible portions. It's clearly known to all that, Ijaws are minority tribe at Southern part of the country.
How do you think life would be between Igbo tribe as proponents of the agitation and Ijaws the producing cow in the zone as well as minorities.
Without even mentioning other tribes like Bendals,Ibibios,Itsekiris,Urhobos and their like; one can jump into forecasting what may likely happened in an immediate future of the so-called division or restructuring.
The Igbos as a dominant tribe could hijacked the portion of the divided oil wells allocated to the region and left the milking cow with pollution.
I was even used to imagine the possibility of second and third division upon division of the said Biafara agitated by the IPOB of both kinds visible and invisible ones; as well as domestic operators and those from foreign countries like Canada.
All I pray for the divide up of this very country of ours is "let it be peaceful and in harmonious manner" not a bloodshed and hazardous in nature.
To be likely continue.
