lndendent National Electoral Commission( INEC) has replied to a viral video of buried endless pickers Cards, PVCs in Imo State. The commission in a statement issued by its National Commissioner, Festus, spoke it has commenced immediate exploration and anyone set up culpable in the act will be sanctioned under the law. “ The attention of the Commission has been drawn to vids trending online of endless pickers Cards( PVCs) allegedly buried underground in some locales, involving the conflation of a high- profile. “ The Commission is not taking these allegations easily. We have commenced immediate exploration and anyone set up culpable in this cacodemonic scheme fluently intended to liberate Nigerians will be sanctioned under the law. Every eligible Nigerian who registered as a picker is entitled to his/ her PVC. The indigenous birthright to brio in any election must noway be suppressed or abridged in any thruway. “ As far as the story of the commission is concerned, PVCs have been published for all valid registrants in Nigeria up to 14th January 2022 and delivered to all the countries of the Federation for collection by pickers. “ We will not have retrogressive rudiments to sabotage our sweats. The goods of picker registration, florilegium of the pickers ’ roll and allocation of PVCs are at the heart of any popular choices and the Commission is working out hard to ensure that every eligible citizen who appears in person at the registration medium is registered. We solace Nigerians that this matter will be hounded to its logical conclusion. formerly, the Commission is reviewing the procedure for collecting PVCs to make it less clumsy and more transparent.
