God has given us as Christians a way to breathe spiritually for our spiritual well-being. God hears everything. He hears our thoughts (Psalm 139:2), he hears the sound of every electron going around every atom in the universe. So we can literally say that God hears every prayer uttered by every person and every true Christian knows that “PRAYER” is the “OXYGEN” that keeps us alive in God and God alive in us.
Prayer is giving our attention to God in a two way spiritual relationship where we talk to God and also listen to God. It is like a child’s conversation with their father. It is natural for a child to ask his father for the things they need, or to ask for advice or guidance. It is the open admission that without Christ we can do nothing. An expression of faith in God's power, fueled by a desire for more of him.
