Robert Pickton May Have Sold Human Meat to the Public

One of Canada’s most notorious prisoners Robert Pickton died from injuries sustained in a prison assault.

Pickton, a real-life Sweeney Todd, inherited his family’s pig farm in the early 1990s and used it as a killing ground. Between 1995 and 2001, he murdered at least 26 women there, though he later confessed to 49.

During the investigation, authorities found human remains mixed with ground pork in his freezers. It led to speculation that he had processed human flesh alongside pig meat. A public health notice warned that anyone who consumed pork from his farm might have unknowingly eaten human flesh.

The victims’ families remain active in advocacy. Just months ago, they held a vigil outside the farm where they discovered her remains.

Richard Chase Drank His Victims Blood

The Vampire of Sacramento, officially known as Richard Chase, earned his nickname by consuming his victims’ blood. Active briefly in the late 1970s, he murdered six people while suffering from severe, untreated mental illness.

Chase believed his blood was turning to dust or depleted. Further, he supposed that drinking fresh blood would save him. After the murders, he wandered his neighborhood in a bloody stupor.

When police searched his apartment, they found blood-covered cups and utensils. One report described a yogurt container with zigzag prints, which he allegedly used to drink blood.

John Wayne Gacy Kept Bodies in His Crawl Space

John Wayne Gacy, infamous for working as a party clown, hid at least 29 of his 33 victims in a crawl space inside his house. He lured men with promises of construction jobs and then murdered them.

To mask the smell, he layered quicklime and spread concrete. Despite this, neighbors complained about the stench, which Gacy blamed on dead rodents or plumbing issues.

Jack the Ripper Allegedly Sent a Kidney Through the Mail

Jack the Ripper’s identity remains unknown, but one of the creepiest aspects of his case is the From Hell letter. Sent to George Lusk, chairman of a vigilance committee, it contained half of a human kidney.

Israel Keyes Staged a Ransom Photo with a Corpse

In 2012, Israel Keyes kidnapped 18-year-old Samantha Koenig, murdered her, and then staged a ransom photo. He sewed her eyes open with a fishing line and posed her with a newspaper, demanding $30,000 from her family.

Police tracked his ATM withdrawals, leading to his arrest. Keyes later admitted to enjoying the “rush” of his crimes.

Ted Bundy, responsible for at least 36 murders, often revisited his crime scenes. He repositioned bodies, groomed their hair, and even applied makeup.
