It has become a truism, and so whenever someone needs something so bad, he or she is told to be determined.
It is a no wonder that people have clung to the idea that, without determination nothing can be achieved or simply, there can be no success without determination.
Determination is such a great element, and all who have made it to the topmost in industry, academia, politics, arts and entertainment even in relationships had up to a certain level of it. You need to be determined from the start, in between start and finish and then at the finish line.
You need to be determined to get there but beyond determination is something else. As human beings, everything of ours diminishes, even our very self. We grow to a certain point and then die, same way everything about us diminishes at a certain point.
From the minerals in our lands, fishes in our waters, birds of the skies to the wild animals, fruits and etc all follows this patterns.
Every other thing about us defies not this pattern, our emotions, feelings, attributes etc. Having the fullness of something now should not trick you into believing that it will remain the same till your last day on earth.
So, what happens when what you have now diminishes or dies out? Here is the case; there levels and differing degrees and ranks even in God's creation. Science Students, and for that matter Biology Students would tell you it's called "Food Chain". A level ends and another takes over, it's as simple as that.
That is why you must not cling to the notion of determination and determination alone, no! You will need another element, higher and more rewarding than that. I am not saying do away with your determined mindset and spirit, what I am saying is, do not rely so much on it alone.
And now, what is beyond determination? What happens when the determination I have diminishes?
We shall have a close look at and sort out the above questions in the next post. Stay tuned in!
