Relationship not worth your time
Alex went to a boutique with the intention of snapping pictures with the trendy outfits as usual and then he met a fair,beautiful, lady, called Vivian,she came there to shop some wears.His admiring gaze sent a smile to his lips"Oh my gosh!!,this girl is so-so beautiful "he said. Alex winked at Vivian and she smiled back,immediately he left what he was doing and went straight to meet her

"hello" she replied with a smile
"I was actually checking out some nice outfit when you walked in,but I couldn't take my eyes off you,my goodness!! you're so irresistible,I mean you're endowed with beauty" he said
"Thanks" she replied blushing
"If you don't mind I'll like us to meet again" he said
"Okay" she replied
"So can I have your digits?" he said
"Alright,you can have it" she begins to call her phone number.
Alex was so broke,he barely had his own clothes,he always borrows to look good,
he had this charisma,the ladies liked him,he was a handsome young man,but he had no job,instead he gets his money by professing love to several ladies and after he has gotten them to like him,he begins to ask them for money.Vivian was a very hard working lady,she doesn't depend on men for money, was doing well for herself,she had a tailoring shop.
A month later,Alex received notice from his landlord concerning his rent of 200,000 naira,which is supposed to expire in 3 months.After several dates between Alex and Vivian,Alex decided to beg Vivian for money inorder to pay his rent.
"Honey I want to ask a favour from you,please can you do it for me?" He asks
"I'm all ears,tell me" she replied
"It's my rent" he said
"Okay" she replied
"The landlord passed a reminder of the rent which will expire in three months time and I've not been able to get quarter of the money" he said
"Oh my gosh! that's close,so how is it going to be done?" She asked
"I don't know,that's why I decided to tell you" he replied
"Alright, you know what? I've got you covered, i-i have some savings,so I'll take the money from there and I'll give you by tomorrow" she said
"Are you serious?" he asked
A smile of joy and satisfaction lit up his eager face
"Yes of course,anything for my man"She replied
"Wow! Wow! honey,you know,that's why i love you" he said
He then hugged her passionately.
Meanwhile Vivian's relationship with her ex was so bad,she loved her ex so much,all was going well not until her ex boyfriend had an affair with her bestfriend,and this made Vivian stay for three years without a boyfriend before she met Alex.Vivian helped Alex so much to the extent that she gave him money to start a business which later grew big,and then Alex made millions of naira out of it.2 years later,it was now time for Alex to get married, he could'nt wait spending time with his lover (Laura),he now sees Vivian as someone who is not his match,due to the fact that she is not as beautiful and rich as Laura,the daughter of a multimillionaire (Chief Anozie)who owns several companies.
Vivian begins to think about her relationship with Alex,by now she's not aware of Alex relationship with Laura."What's going on with Alex,why is it that each time I tell him to come see my parents,he keeps on saying"it's not yet time",does he really love me,I mean he's...doing well financially now,unlike before"she said.Vivian has turned down many suitors these years just because of Alex,age is no longer on her side now,as she will turn 30 in 2 weeks time.Alex and Laura are already preparing for their wedding, coming up in 2 months time.
Alex was at the sitting room watching football,whereas his girlfriend(Laura) was busy in the kitchen preparing fried plantain and egg sauce,when Vivian walked into the house.
"Alex what's the problem? what has gone wrong between the both of us?" Vivian asked
"Like what?" Alex replied
"Seriously! you want to act like you don't know what I'm talking about, right?"she said
" I don't get you,did I do anything wrong?"he ask
"Why have you not been taking my calls?"Vivian said
Immediately,Laura walked into the sitting room.
"Baby who is she?" Laura ask Alex
"I should be the one asking that question you fool" Vivian replied
"She's my ex" Alex replied Laura
"What?did you just call me your ex?"Vivian asks
Immediately tears begins to roll down her cheek
" Is she the reason you've been acting weird lately? After all I did for you,you decided to treat me this way"she said
"He has found someone else and that's me" Laura said with a smirk on her face
"Hey,you better shut your mouth,you shameless thing" Vivian replied
"Look Vivian,I no longer love you the way I use to,all we had was in the past okay,I've found the one I love,and that is Laura,and we're getting married in 2 months time"Alex said
"What! Two months! No,that won't happen,after all I did for you,if you think you can use me and dump me just like that,you must be a joker"Vivian replied
"It is surely going to happen" Alex said.
Vivian continued crying as she left Alex house.She tried to see if things will work out between her and Alex,but all to no Avail.
When you're stuck in a toxic relationship, it's hard to know what to do because you love this person and you've invested so much time in this person. You find it difficult to leave the person,but absolutely, the relationship is going to leave you with more misery than joy, and you know you have to end it. Know your worth,You are amazing, Someone better is out there.
The sooner you end it, the sooner you can start getting over it,and the closer you are to a better life.
