The Emperor’s Dragon Dream – Ancient China

Emperor Mu of Zhou once told of a strange dream: he rode across the heavens in a chariot pulled by dragons. In his vision, he reached a “Jade Palace of the Immortals,” where he saw wonders beyond human understanding.

Inspired by this, he set out on great journeys westward, returning with treasures and stories of distant tribes. To his people, it proved he was chosen by Heaven. Yet whispers spread that he had glimpsed a world far beyond our own.
