THE LEADERSHIP OF PRAYER AND ZERO CAPACITY

THE LEADERSHIP OF PRAYER AND ZERO CAPACITY

A nation is an imagined political community.… It is imagined because the members of even the smallest nation will never know most of their fellow-members, meet them, or even hear of them, yet in the mind of each lives the image of their communion.

While it's known that a Nation is built on solid foundation if RULE OF LAW is enforced and widely carried out. Under democratic system of government; it's a Government owned by the majority of the people in a given state or sovereignty. Akin to a Human Development Index but centrally concerned with political institutions and freedoms, Democracy is widely practiced by 2/3 of Nations in the world.

Statistically, it means Democratic system of government is the OBTAINABLE Government of the people and for the people in the world today.

It's on this thread I ask who's a LEADER...?

A Leader is the person who leads or commands a group, organization, or country.. while Politicians are people who are politically active, especially in party politics. Political positions range from local governments to state governments to federal governments to international governments. All government leaders are considered politicians.

The above definition of a Political Leader is without meaning if there's Deficiency in Capacity and performance.

A LEADER is people oriented in all honesty.

When a Leader is there, the people must belong to his Leadership charisma. A Leader stands for the people he's leading, he protects them and defend them against external aggressions.

In Africa, Democratic Government was murdered after the likes of Obafemi Awolowo (1909–1987; Nigeria), Kwame Nkrumah (1909–1972; Ghana), Jomo Kenyatta (1889–1978; Kenya), Julius Nyerere (1922–1999; Tanzania), and Nelson Mandela (b. 1918; South Africa) . These persons were renowned for the love they had for Africa's freedom and not the selfish interest of some politicians today.

They fought for all, defended Africans and faced the victimization, challenges and were jailed. They were never tired till they died. The joy of seeing Africa rise above hatred, and leadership of praise singing would have a glimpse of joy in their hearts.

It's bitterness to know that an Igbo man can't lead NIGERIA, and it's sheer calumny to think that Political power is taken and not given.

In today's Nigeria's Politics... there's two system of government carved out from the existing democratic constitution. Internal Party Politics and Party Politics.

The argument by courts to uphold the decisions of the party, and the tussle power by Political parties to grab the seat of government with much defecation and stains.

While it's not prayer that will bring the Basic necessities of mankind in Africa like, Good tarred roads, Education, Power,Food, good Shelter.. etc...

Electorates must vote for the right candidate for Political leadership in Nigeria and Africa at large.

It's very common in Africa to see where Political Leaders lead her people through Churches, Mosques and all ethno-religious gaps in other to get into their minds. This abracadabra must stop

Again Africans must do away with Sympathy votes. The notion that only Elders(old men above 70- 80 years)are the right age bracket for leadership have to stop. The above mentioned Political achievers did exploits in Africa's Politics as young men.

There is a major gap in Africa's democracy and the civilized Nations today, this is the reason Africa is under siege of GERONTOCRACY; A system of government occasioned by elderly people.

Age truly doesn't define a Good Leader, but it limits their capacity to perform or monitor some of the policies that the people demands. As Africa is bedeviled by Polithieftians and Praise singers.. it's noteworthy that Democracy was murdered by religion. No NATION is built on hate, while it's on record that countries in Africa like Nigeria has suffered from what I termed; "THE LEADERSHIP OF PRAYER AND ZERO CAPACITY"; where Leaders are enjoying life and the citizens who bear the brunt of their zero achievements are the ones offering them prayers. What I don't understand is, would this prayers put food on our tables, do miracle for good roads, a working education system(Can it stop ASUU STRIKE), or secure the lives of Nigerians(Killed on daily basis by Boko Haram, Bandits,Fulani herds militias etc)?

Leaders must not wait to have their selfish Political interest before they lead...it must be ingrained in them to fight for the people all the time.

Those who vote must be knowledgeable about a given Candidate, his capacity to lead. His ability to conquer tribalistic disposition in his Leadership.

While elections are there to usher in periodic table where People are voted for and be voted against... It's a great deal for a leader to accept defeat and up his skills too.

A NATION that practices democracy must stick to all rules and regulations that follow suits to achieve the giants strides of a democratic system of government.

A candidate Who is aspiring for Political leadership of her people must be considered based mental alertness, Capacity to discern weakness/strengths and people oriented, campaigns must be treated on neutral base in the gates of ethno-religious avenues where US versus THEM demands mudslinging and division of the NATION.

The leadership of Prayer has never worked in Africa's democracy, it's pragmatic approach to alleviating the suffering of the masses that truly defines humanity. Favourable policies and creating means of survival is what defines a good prayer.

Let NIGERIA and Africans embrace Humanity as Religion and quit this LEADERSHIP OF PRAYER AND ZERO CAPACITY.
