3 Things I Do at Home to Make Money Online This December

December don reach, and like many people, I also need extra money for the festive season. I stay inside my house in Warri, Delta State. I no dey go out like that, but I have an HP laptop and internet connection, so I decided to use what I have to make small money online.

I am not making big money yet, but I have started. These are three things I do inside my house with my HP laptop to earn money online this December.

1. I Write Articles on LODPOST

The first thing I do is write articles on LODPOST.

My first article was about how to make an HP laptop battery last longer, especially when electricity is not stable. I shared practical tips based on my own experience as a student in Warri.

After publishing the article, one person read it, and I earned $0.007 from that view.

It may look like a very small amount, but I see it as a beginning. My plan is to keep publishing useful articles and attract more readers. If I can get 40 views, that would bring my earnings to $0.28 at the same rate, although actual earnings may vary depending on the platform's payment rules and view qualification.

The good thing is that you do not need to write about complicated topics. You can share what you already know, such as technology, education, lifestyle, business, farming, or personal experiences.

My advice is simple: write useful information that people are actually searching for.

2. I Share Technology Tips in the Tech Category

Another thing I do is share practical technology tips on LODPOST.

For example, I wrote about how I manage my HP laptop battery when electricity is not stable. I explained how I reduce screen brightness to 50%, turn on Battery Saver, close applications I am not using, and adjust my laptop power settings.

With these adjustments, my laptop can last up to five hours under my normal usage conditions.

I believe articles like this can be useful because many students and laptop users search Google for solutions to everyday technology problems.

Instead of writing only about things I have never experienced, I prefer sharing practical tips I have personally tried. This makes my articles more useful and relatable to other readers.

You can do the same. Think about a problem you have solved with your phone, laptop, or another device. Explain how you solved it and publish the information in a way that helps others.

3. I Share My Article Links on WhatsApp and Facebook

Writing articles alone does not automatically bring readers. After publishing an article, I also promote it on social media.

I share my article links on my WhatsApp Status and in two Facebook groups related to Warri.

That is where one of my article views came from. It may be just one view for now, but it shows why promoting your content is important.

When you publish an article, do not just leave it on your website and expect people to discover it immediately.

Share it with people who may find the information useful. You can use:

• WhatsApp Status.
• Relevant Facebook groups.
• Your Facebook page.
• Telegram communities where sharing is allowed.
• Other social media platforms.

However, avoid spamming groups with links. Share useful information, follow group rules, and give people a reason to read your article.

How I Am Trying to Make Money From Home This December

I am still at the beginning of this journey. I have not made big money from it yet, but I am learning how to create useful content, publish consistently, and bring readers to my articles.

My approach is simple:

1. Use my HP laptop to write helpful articles.
2. Publish them in the appropriate LODPOST categories.
3. Share the articles with interested readers on social media.
4. Keep improving my writing and learn what people want to read.
