Three Smallest State in Nigeria by Physical Size.

Nigeria is situated in the western region of Africa. It is important to note that Nigeria is a sizable nation. In the Federal Republic of Nigeria, there are 36 states. These states all have clearly defined borders. It should be noted that Nigeria also has an Abuja-based federal capital territory. Let's carefully determine which Nigerian states are the smallest in terms of area.

Lagos State, first 

According to legend, Lagos State serves as the Federal Republic of Nigeria's economic hub. Lagos, according to The Guardian, is the Federal Republic of Nigeria's tiniest state. Lagos State is said to be 3,577 square kilometers in size. The Guardian claims as much. It should be noted that Lagos' size as a city and a state are distinct from one another. 

2. State of Anambra 

According to The Vanguard News, Anambra State is the second-tiniest state in Nigeria in terms of area. Anambra State is estimated to be 4,844 square kilometers in size. 

Imo State 3. 

According to The Guardian, Imo State is around 5,530 square kilometers in size. According to the report, Imo State is the third-smallest state in terms of area in Nigeria.
