If you are looking for a way to dive into medical drama but you are not sure how to lemme be your guide. These are the top medical drama you should start with.
1. HOUSE M.D (2004-2012)
House (also called House, M.D.) is an American medical drama television series created by David Shore for Fox. It features the life of Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie), an unconventional, misanthropic, cynical medical genius who, despite his dependence on pain medication, successfully leads a team of diagnosticians at the fictional Princeton–Plainsboro Teaching Hospital (PPTH) in New Jersey.House often clashes with his fellow physicians, including his own diagnostic team, because many of his hypotheses about patients' illnesses are based on subtle or controversial insights. His flouting of hospital rules and procedures frequently leads him into conflict with his boss, hospital administrator and Dean of Medicine Dr. Lisa Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein). His only true friend is Dr. James Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard), head of the Department of Oncology.
Good for adult audiences, kids, not so much. Just finished the entire series, would not let anyone under 16 watch by themselves. There is a lot that should be explained to kids as its happening. Lots of blood guts and gore along with real world situations. Of course House is brilliant, definitely NOT a good roll model. With 8 Seasons of about 20 plus episodes each.
2. GREY'S ANATOMY(2005 - Present)
Surgical interns and their supervisors embark on a medical journey where they become part of heart-wrenching stories and make life-changing decisions in order to become the finest doctors.
Grey's Anatomy is an American medical drama television series focusing on the personal and professional lives of surgical interns, residents, and attendings at the fictional Seattle Grace Hospital, later named the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. The series premiered on March 27, 2005, on ABC as a mid-season replacement. Greys Anatomy is an amazing show that could make you instantly laugh with the character's lines and humor!. With 21 Seasons and 448 Episodes in total
3. CHICAGO MED (2015-Present)
Chicago Med is an American medical drama series broadcast by NBC and created by Dick Wolf as the third installment of the Chicago franchise.
Chicago Med follows the emergency department (ED) doctors and nurses of the fictional Gaffney Chicago Medical Center. As they work to save lives, these members deal with the personal and professional pressures of their jobs. All the cast do a great job at their characters. Chicago Med with each episode keeps you drawn to the show until the end. The situations the team go through are intense but everyone does their job to help the injured. I like how the producers bring all the Chicago shows together, it makes it seem more like reality. With 10 Seasons and 197 episodes in total
