U.S.–Iran Talks Hit Stalemate as Trump Rejects Iran Proposal

🇺🇸 U.S.–IRAN TALKS HIT STALEMATE AS OIL PRICES RISE

The United States and Iran remain at an impasse over efforts to resolve their conflict and reopen the strategically important Strait of Hormuz. President Donald Trump rejected an Iranian proposal, but said U.S. negotiators could hold further talks with Tehran this week.

The uncertainty has also affected global energy markets. Brent crude rose more than 3% on September 28, reaching about $107.75 per barrel, as investors watched developments around the key shipping route.

Iran has continued to emphasize diplomacy, while the unresolved situation around the Strait of Hormuz remains a major concern for global oil supplies and markets.
