What is the actual meaning of Jihad?
Jihad is an Arabic word from the root word Jahd which suggests the ability to endure an unpleasant or difficult process or situation without giving way.
It also suggests that never bow down before oppressor or tyrant rather sacrifice your life before them that will be the honour of Shadah which refers to those who sacrifice their lives for Islam,
for the truth, for the right but never support them or sell yourself to them just for money that is offered by the oppressor who wants to destroy Islam.
Types of Jihad
Jihad is of three types:- 1) Jihad Akbar, 2)Jihad Kabeer, 3)Jihad Asghar
1) JIHAD AKBAR
Jihad Akbar means Jihad against oneself. It is the greatest Jihad. It is done to purify oneself and to control his desire within himself.
This is because one's internal struggle to lead a pure good life is difficult. God always guides us to do good and save ourselves from sins but our natural tendencies are inclined to evil.
