WhatsApp are now being hacked

Good evening everyone,

I hope this message finds you all well. I would like to take a moment to bring something very important to your attention.

It has been confirmed that a growing number of scammers are now actively hacking into people's WhatsApp accounts and using them to deceive friends, family, and contacts. These criminals gain access to a person’s account and then begin sending messages to their contacts, pretending to be the account owner. Most times, they ask for urgent financial assistance, mobile transfers, or personal details under false pretenses.

I want to sincerely urge everyone in this group and beyond to please be very vigilant and careful. Under no circumstance should you share any verification code or security code sent to your phone with anyone — even if the person claims to be someone you know or a member of this group. Remember, no genuine friend or contact will ever need your WhatsApp verification code.

Also, if you ever receive an unusual or suspicious message asking for money or sensitive information, please take a moment to call the person directly to confirm before taking any action. Better to be safe than sorry.

Let us all stay alert and protect ourselves from falling victim to these heartless scammers. Kindly share this message with your family, friends, and other groups you belong to, so we can all help spread awareness and protect one another.

Stay safe, stay vigilant, and protect your digital privacy.

Good evening once again, and thank you for your attention.
