As a student in Nigeria waiting for school resumption, I wanted to make small money online instead of staying idle. I had just ₦1,000 with me, and I decided to try online task platforms.
I started with RetpicAfrica. After activating with ₦1,000, I began doing simple tasks like rating pictures and engaging with posts. At first the earnings were small - ₦20, ₦30 per task. But I stayed consistent.
In a few days, my balance grew to ₦2,040. That moment showed me that consistency pays a lot. When you stay focused on a task, small money becomes big money.
Later I also tried Gemgala. It taught me about product sharing and how teamwork can help you grow faster online. It needs patience and sharing with friends who are interested.
WHAT CONSISTENCY TAUGHT ME
1. Start small, grow big: I started with ₦1,000 but with daily effort I saw my balance increasing.
2. Patience is key: Online earning is not magic. You need to do tasks every day.
3. Sharing helps growth: When you share opportunities with friends, everybody grows together.
4. Skills matter: Doing these tasks improved my phone skills, marketing skills and consistency.
MY NEW MINDSET
Now I understand that any online business needs consistency. No big result comes in one day. The ₦2,040 I have is proof that if I continue, I will reach ₦7,000 and beyond.
As a student who scored 70 in JAMB Maths, I am also using this same consistency to teach JSS students around Ijoko and to write articles.
My advice to every Nigerian student - if you want to earn online, be consistent. Don't stop after one day. Stay on one platform, learn it well, do your tasks daily, and you will see growth. Consistency is the real currency.
