YOUR PVC IS YOUR DESTINY

YOUR PVC IS YOUR DESTINY

Do not be deceived by the birth certificate, degree certificate, marriage certificate, C of O etc. Do not be deceived by your compilation of certificates piled up In your drawer neither should you be deceived by your ATM card, your national Identity Card, your international passport or your workers Identity card nor the so called national political party Identification card. Correct! All these cards or certificates, there is no gain saying that they are very important to our existance as a people. We all need them to run around our daily errands. Infact some of us can hardly survive the harsh economic realities of this mono-economy without them. Having them at least makes life a little bit less burdensome on us - it relief is the yoke we should've been Carrying around if we don't have them.

But I stand to be corrected any day any time these certificates and identity cards are less of paramount importance when compared to your PERMANENT VOTERS CARD. As significant as all the above cards may be, they are invariably less significant in comparison to that tiny little flat, four shape, regtangular plastic card you carry around either in your wallet or purse.

Most of the time, all the smugs who parade themselves as our leaders know exactly what they are doing by downplaying and trivializing the registration, collection and accreditation prices in invoke is assessing the PVC. They brain wash the populace into thinking that a PVCis as worthless and valueless as the ordinary plastic card which can do litte or nothing and which can be easily replaced when lost or misused. They made the people to believe that a PVC values less is no morethan the urgent 2k they share to gullible electorate during electioneering process. Our otiose political elites have made ridicule of our PVC before our own very eyes by exchanging it with a plate of rice, plate of beans, maggi, omo or soap during election campaign.

Mind you, most times when they talk about voters Education, what it's connotes is that they want to show voters not how to cast their voter properly y using their PVC the right way but the Voters education here means they want to show the electorate how to manipulate and maneuver the masses to vote for their own hand picked candidate even though he or she may not be the ideal candidate that has the best interest of the people at heart. This is the tragedy we have found ourselves as a people and this is the exactly why as a person I have taken it upon myself to consciencetize as many masses as I can, to enlighten and thoroughly educate on the power of that little plastic card they toy around with. I have taken it as a duty to teach as many people as possible most especially those living in underserved communities about the enormous power embedded in their PVC

You know my dear brother and sister that ignorance is bliss. That simple fact that a large chunk of the electorates in Nigerians do not really know that power of their PVC makes its much more easier for our carlous politician to take advantage of them and buy their votes for a meagre amount of money. The problem is that those who are to teach them are the ones capitalising on their ignorance for their egocentric gain. Those who are to lead the thorough voters Education are the same people misleading and corrupting their minds during election. Something has to be done and it has to be done very fast because time is no longer on our side.

I strongly believe if these people living in rural communities, who form 70% of the total number of voters we have in Nigeria, they will quickly desist from traking their PVC for a mare portage and peanut  from these unscrupulous politicians who only come around only during election period. I have taken it as a calling to organise a rural campaign tagged "your pvc, your destiny". Our job would be purely to educate underserved electorate living in rural communities on how to maximize the use of their PVC.  The scope of my campaign would be both online and offline. Online I will be coming up with educatibe articles on the ways to properly use your PVC in order to get the right candidate in position of power. Offline it would be a door to door campaign, taking time to relate with them, get their thoughts and give them a better way of thinking - changing their mind set about. It's going to be an interactive campaign that would involve youths who are the leaders of various wards or youths organizations in these communities.

I am not doing the campaign alone, I will be needing the help of able bodied young men and women who would be volunteering in the communities in order to get it right this time in the nest 2023 general election. These people need to know how to use their PVC, how to spot the right candidate that has their own interest at heart who can eventually turn their misfortunes around within a given period of time. I believe if the electorate know more they will act better and if they act better we would eventually have a better Nigerian devoid of extreme poverty, insecurity, banditry, criminality etc.

Thank you!
