Living in Delta with small income is not easy, but these 5 habits changed my money story.

1. Cook once, eat twice: I started cooking big pot of soup on Sunday, store half. I stopped buying food outside every day.

2. The N500 rule: Anytime I want to buy something not food or transport, I wait 24 hours. If I still need it after 24 hours, I buy it. 80% of time I forget it.

3. No airtime borrowing: I stopped borrowing airtime and data on credit. If it finishes, I wait. It forced me to use WiFi more.

4. Write everything: I bought small N200 notebook. Every money I spend, I write. When I saw how much I spent on gala and Coke, I stopped.

5. God first, savings second: Before I spend my small pay, I remove small savings first, even if it's N500. God sees your discipline.

Frugal living is not about suffering, it's about managing small well so God can trust you with big.
