Accident or Murder? What Really Happened To the 2-Year-Old Kid

DCI detectives based at Kiamumbi police station in Kahawa West, Nairobi, on Wednesday arrested a woman accused of causing a child's death. Maureen Nyaboke allegedly assaulted her boss' son causing him internal bleeding that resulted in his death, the boy's family claimed. Her employer identified as Wangui Wambeca raised the matter about the son's death on social media leading to uproar among Kenyans who demanded the house help to be arrested.

However, there have been all sorts of contradicting stories surrounding the sad demise of the young lad. A section of Kenyans online has come forward to claim that the kid fell from the first floor of the building they were living in, as the house help was busy with house chores. Although the death wasn't instant, the kid was crying all day with the maid unable to tell the boss what had transpired during her absence.

The kid was taken to the hospital but sadly, passed on due to the internal bleeding that had taken a toll on some of his vital organs. Doctors resolved death was a result of an assault from a blunt object. A lot of things don't add up. Like, who leaves a 2-year-old unattended outside, no matter how busy one is with chores. The accident was avoidable if the house help had paid more attention and ensured the kid was safe wherever he was playing at.

Police are however investigating the case and the public is largely awaiting the judgment and the path this case will take. May justice prevail and may the young lad rest in peace.
