Recently, Netflix released a true-crime documentary dubbed "The Tinder Swindler" into its multitudes of fanatics and subscribers all over the world, who have opened accounts with the production company, which offers a wide variety of streaming services with a wide variety of award-winning TV shows, movies and all sort of television-related entertainments.
The show revolves around a con artist who bamboozled a number of women into believing he was in love with them. The man identified by the name, Simon Leviev, targeted rich, wealthy, businesswomen whom he met on Tinder, a dating app, believed to be vulnerable to love or intimate relationships. The truth is the lad knew exactly how to shuffle and play his cards right and made sure he dated up to three women at a go.
The man at the beginning of the "relationship" would tend to spoil the women for a while before and introduce himself as the son of a "diamond billionaire". After a while, he will inform the women of how his enemies, given how 'wealthy' the fake dad is, are after him and his life is in danger. Of course, everyone will believe him no matter how smart you are, and given how vulnerable the ladies were, and how the man had expressed his sincere love to them, they had no option but to fall into the "devil's" trap.
Simon convinced a number of the women to send a certain amount of money to him, which became a recurring thing because apparently, he can't use his cards, "to avoid being traced" by the imaginary enemies. It went to an extent, he linked his cards to the women's. As the saying goes, love can make you do crazy things. It was a shocker and too late for the women before they realized what a trap they had fallen into and they have been left with huge debts and loans from various financial institutions.
The documentary is "number one trending" in most countries and investigations are ongoing to determine the whole circus. It purported he has finally been banned in most dating apps.
