Appointed Presidential Staffer
His Excellency the president of the Republic of Ghana and Commander in Chief of the Ghana Arm Forces, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed a new presidential staffer into the office of the president.
The President appointed Mr. Dannis Miracles Aboagye as a Director for Local Governance and Decentralization at the office of the President.
Meanwhile Ghanaians begin to complain about this appointment among the reasons for the complaints are that, there is a minister for Local Governance and Decentralization supported by three (3) deputy Ministers at the local Governance Ministry.
Most people think the government is not worried about the current hardships Ghanaians are facing hence the reason the government is still increasing expenditure, but trying to impose E-Levy on the ordinary Ghanaian.
A member of the Biggest Opposition Party in Ghana the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Yayra Koku took to his social media handles to add his voice with regard to this appointment, read below his statement.
"Akufo Addo is still appointing NPP members to increase our expenditure. Check out this guys position “Director for Local Governance & Decentralisation at the Office of the President.” Meanwhile, we have a minister and three deputies at the Local Government Ministry.
They are just wasting the taxpayer's money."
Meanwhile the government believes if the E-Levy is allowed to pass in Parliament will help solve the economic hardship the citizens are currently going through and will also help construct roads and other national development Projects.
Thank you very much for reading.
