Many of us have had to at one point feel the pain and frustration that come to us when men leave us. I have personally had moments of enduring the Abandon of Men. I want to encourage you today; that as long as your pursuit is what is Right, True, Holy and Noble(Philippians 4:8)
; You will one day have to bear with being abandoned! Yes, people will leave because you did nothing wrong and people will equally leave you because you were wrong. This implies that you need to be fore-armed on how to respond to the Abandon of Men!
John 6:53- illustrates one such a moment when Jesus was abandoned by His disciples. He taught what they felt was unacceptable to them and they left! Yes, MEN ABANDONED THE LORD! They loved Him, enjoyed His ministry; were blessed by His miracles…but they still abandoned Him! If men can abandon Jesus…they will one day abandon You!
Surprisingly, the people you love, the people you help, the people you trust, the people you expect to support you will one day, unashamedly, Abandon You! How prepared are you to bear with the abandon of men?
One day Apostle Paul couldn't put up with the timidity of JohnMark and he put then off together with Barnabass. (ACTS 15)!
The story of the good samaritan is a perfect illustration of a man abandoned by men whilst in need! Yes, his brethren the jews, the pharisee and the priest abandoned him to die lest they bear the cost of his pains and hurts! (Luke 10:30-)!
How do you deal with the abandon of men; especially those who are so close to you? I mean; at work, at home, in a relationship,in Church… The abandon of Men is a reality everyday!
Know this dear child of God about men:
Men lie and sons of men change their minds.
Numbers 23:19.
Even those dear and close to you…are men!Cursed is the man who puts his trust in another man.
Jeremiah 17:5
The stability of a man for himself is questionable… Leave alone for you! Put your trust in a more stable Personality!Men will interpret everything from the outward appearance.
1 Samuel 16:7.
Men will look at you in the wilderness and call it punishment by God. Remember the friends of Job? Scarcely will men get to see beyond the veil of sense!
