Dates are a fruit often associated with dessert; its natural sweetness is indeed unique. Aside from its sweetness, it also serves as a medicinal benefit to humans. Dates is a wholesome fruit that contains a high level of carbohydrates about forty-four to eighty-eight percent and has low-fat content of about 1 to 2.5 percent.

 

 

 

Also, dates are high in fiber content of about 6.4 to 11.5 percent depending upon the different types of dates. Below are some of its medicinal benefits.

Because of the high carbohydrate content, it gives instant energy and a person can survive only on dates and water for days and months together. Some may worry about getting fat when consuming too much but the fat content does not increase your weight so there is no risk for a person to be afraid of weight increase.

 

*PREVENTS TOOTH DECAY:

 

As far as the minerals are concerned, it contains fifteen different minerals like florid which prevents tooth decay. It works by strengthening tooth enamel, making it more resistant to decay.

                                           

*BOAST IMMUNE SYSTEM AND PROMOTES DIGESTION:

 

It contains about six vitamins like vitamin C, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, niacin, vitamin E, and also selenium which fight against cancer and increase the immune system of the human body. Dates also have a very high content of fiber which is good for digestion and can cure constipation and dry system.

                                    

In the last fifty years, the production of dates has increased by 3.5 percent times and the population of the world has increased twice so date production is much more than the population of human beings because it is a very wholesome food and gives instant energy.
