Burna Boy has done it again! While Davido, Wizkid and Rema were nowhere to be found, the African Giant was the ONLY African artist that graced the 70th Ballon d'Or ceremony in London.

On Monday, October 26, at the London Palladium, Burna Boy became the FIRST Nigerian artist ever to present an award at the Ballon d'Or. The show was moved from Paris to London this year to celebrate 70 years.

Why Was Burna Boy The Only African Artist There?

He was invited to present the prestigious Socrates Award, given to footballers who use their platform to help humanity. On stage with Thierry Henry, he spoke about his Burna Boy Football Academy in Lagos and said: "Hopefully, inshallah, one day I'll come back here to see one of my people getting the Ballon d'Or."

He presented the award to Arsenal star Bukayo Saka, who is of Nigerian heritage and won for funding 120 surgeries for children in Kano.

Do you think Burna Boy deserved to be the only African artist there?
