Did You Know?

1. Earth isn’t a perfect sphere—it’s a little chubby in the middle.
   It’s got that equatorial thiccness.

2. Mount Everest can grow each year.
   Thanks to tectonic plates, it's basically hitting a growth spurt… like a tall teen.

3. Antarctica has its own time zones—but no official time.
   So technically, you can always be "on break" there.

4. Earth’s magnetic field flips every so often.
   North becomes south, and compasses throw tantrums.

5. The Sahara Desert used to be a lush rainforest.
   Imagine explaining that in a climate change group project.

6. There are more fake flamingos in the world than real ones.
   Earth is just out here being fabulously fake.

7. The Amazon rainforest makes its own rain.
   It's like nature's version of BYOB: Bring Your Own Bad Weather.

8. Lightning strikes the Earth 8.6 million times a day.
   Earth is basically getting zapped nonstop—talk about a shocking personality.

9. The deepest point on Earth is deeper than Mount Everest is tall.
   The Mariana Trench said, “Everest who?”

10. There's a place in the Pacific called the "Point Nemo" that’s farther from land than the ISS is from Earth.
    So sometimes, astronauts are your closest neighbors. Wild.
