FINDING PEACE

I was the worst day in my life.

A witch doctor approached me in a village in Nigeria and announced that I was going to die.

And there is no one who can help me, the witch doctor said solemnly.

I was scared. People in my village believed that the witch doctor always spoke the truth, that he could not lie.

I did not want to die. I was so frightened that I could not eat or sleep.

My father noticed that somey was terribly wrong.

So he asked me what was happening, I told he about my encounter with the witch doctor.

I decided to tell my church members about the witch doctor and the fear of dying.

They said Jesus had the power not only to save me from the witch doctor prediction of death buy also to offer me eternal life.

I was overjoyed when I heard about this, I left the church happy that I could not keep the good news to myself.

So I shared the peace that Jesus had given me with other people, it was the best day of my life!

Today, I'm alive and well.
