Food is any substance consumed to provide nutritional support for an organism.
Food is usually of plant, animal or fungal origin, and contains essential nutrients, such as carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, or minerals.
Anything which we eat to live is called food. For example: Roti ,bread ,butter ,fruits vegetables, pulses, vegetable oil, butter, desi ghee, eggs, meat, chicken , fish, egg etc.
Food is necessary for us because it provides matter for the growth of our body and energy to do work . I love food so I eat a lot. I know a friend who doesn't eat much and he is not looking healthy because he doesn't feed well.
Food is very important because if we don't eat we will constantly be weak and unhealthy.Improper food is the one which does not have all the nutrients and isn't part of balanced diet.
Also improper food contains elements which cause harm to physical body along with different disorders. High blood pressure, obesity, cardiovascular disease are the common disorders linked with improper food.
