Girl Dies In Hospital After Defilement.
A girl died in hospital after being defiled by alleged preacher in Homabay County on Thursday evening.
The girl identified as Vivian Akoth met her death when she had gone to pick a jerrican for fetching water at her grandmother's place, she found a man she couldn't identify.
Her grandmother only identified him as Abraham because he was from the Legion Maria and he said he was there for prayers but she didn't know where exactly he was from.
He got hold of the girl and defiled her, leaving her with great pain. Sad enough, he even attempted to stangle her.
It became public when the girl was rushed to hospital, her situation worsened and she died on Sunday at the hospital.
The grandmother was instead detained and she was then released when the girl revealed that she was defiled and she also recorded a statement at the DCI office in Homabay town on Monday. It's such a sad incident, we hope she will get justice.
