Halloween stampede in South Korea.

On 29th October, there was an event in Itaewon district in South Korea capital Seoul on a Saturday night. Many of the teenagers and young adults in their 20's attended the event.

Witnesses said the crowd became increasingly unruly and agitated as the evening deepened and number of people started falling down leading to casualties.

The event took place after their country lifted Covid restrictions and social distancing and the party goers were seen wearing masks and Halloween costumes. The emergency team came to their rescue but hundreds were killed and others left with injuries and others are in serious condition receiving emergency treatment but the officials said the death toll could rise.
