The early life of Hercules
Hercules despite being a champion and destined protector of people had personal problems which even started at birth , his father's wife,Hera was bent on stopping him , she sent two witches to Alcmene's house on the day of his birth but the witches were tricked by Alcmene's servants and they were directed to another room. Then secondly , Hera sent serpents to his cradle bed but surprisingly Hercules strangled them even as a baby
Alcmene had to hid little Hercules in the woods in a bid to save him from Hera and her wicked acts but he was lucky to be found by Athena ,a kind goddess who brought Hercules to queen Hera , his stepmother , telling her that he is a child that she picked up in the wood that lacked care and nourishment. Hera took Hercules in not knowing he was the baby she had always wanted dead . Then out of pity she fed him her own breast milk and let him suckle her until the baby Hercules bit her nipple and she had to let him go
Hera gave Hercules back to Athena and asked her to take care of him. Hercules have sucked from the breasts of Hera was induced with more powers and strength.
