Despite Kenyan government rolling out Competence Based Curriculum (CBC) in Primary schools the projects is yet to be fully implemented.
According to former Kenya National Union of Teachers Secretary Mr Wilson Sossion fault the government for failing to do consult the teachers.
The former unionist who is currently a nominated legislator representing workers claimed the government rushed to implement the Curriculum before establishing long term solutions.
Mr Sossion pointed that the CBC was bound to collapse as some parts in the country cannot access amenities that will enable the programme to succeed.
However on their part the government dismissed the allegations that they have already factored in huge amount of money and they cannot be scrapped off.
Currently the CBC pupils should be in junior secondary schools but some scholars argue that tutors have not been fully trained on the CBC system
