Hurricane Melissa made a massive landfall in Cuba and Jamaica on the, 28th October, Tuesday morning as an "extreme danger", category 3 hurricane.

The hurricane Melissa left nearly 2.8 million people homeless and and without electricity.The national hurricane centre reports.

Hurricane Melissa made it in the news after striking Jamaica and Cuba two days ago.Is a category 5 hurricane around 1pm,ET as the strongest hurricane in the history.Prime minister Andrew Holtnes declared the country a disaster area.

Meanwhile, St Elizabeth parish reported to be "underwater"This was reported to be one of the most powerful storms of the 2025 Atlantic hurricane to make a landfall in the Atlantic basins.

Atleast 7 hurricane related death have been reported in terms of the carabian , there each in Jamaica and Haiti, and the Dominican Republic,as a result, the storm is also expected to to bring heavy rainfall to the southern Bahamas and flooding likely to secure.

By Saturday, the remains of the category 5, hurricane will be a tropical storm heading to towards Northern Europe.

Holmes said he does not have any confirmed reports of death,but with category 5 hurricane,we are expecting some Los of life in process ,he added.
