The official date of launch for iOS 26 is on September 15, 2025, with the initial rollout for the iPhone 17 series. All other eligible devices will follow shortly in a staggered rollout, depending on the location.

Supported iPhones 

 

Your iPhone must have at least an A13 Bionic chip to be compatible with iOS 26 and these are the models that have support: 

 

• iPhone 11 series 

• iPhone SE (2nd generation and newer) 

• iPhone 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 model families 

• iPhone 17 series (will come installed) 

The iPhone XR, XS, and XS Max are older models and probably will not support the update due to hardware limitations.
