Kenyan government has vowed to step in to end Gender Based Violence in sports industry that has cost the country prominent athlete .
Speaking during Agnes Tirop memorial cross country in Eldoret Cabinet Secretary for sports in Kenya Ambassador Amina Mohamed said the government is committed in ending the Gender Based violence (GBV) .
On his part athletic Kenya President Gen(Rtd) Jackson Tuwei said the athletic committee has established series of counseling in a move to subdue the family wrangles and violence among Kenyans athletes.
Last year Kenya lost world champion Agness Tirop who was allegedly killed by her husband over family wrangles .
The late Agness Tirop was one of the best long distance runners that helped Kenya in winning various titles .
Kenya has been known world wide through athletic and it has been dominating in several games that has managed to raise the fame of Kenya .
