The streets of Lagos bustled with life as usual and they all went back in time to when everyone never cared and vices were done in secret and with fear.
Olaniyan walked as fast as he could as the drugs were too weighty and he was afraid of them spilling,he walked quickly with really larhl strides mumbling quick greetings to Iyabo the apartment gossiper who wanted to know everything.
he dashed into his room to avoid her crazy,body-itching questions, rushing into the room with the drugs he used his last card to purchase,
running to her side,he took the cup on the bedside,sat down on the bed which gave that rickety sound which had become a norm to him.
Forcing the drugs into her mouth he gave her water making her shiver and cough,she wanted to stand up but what can she do when her hands were tied to the bug infected bed....
She fell back asleep after gasping for air for seconds and then there was silence. Olaniyan stood up from the bed and walked out of the room sighing with great relief
