Life may exist there. NASA has discovered a super-Earth planet

Science is still trying to figure out how vast space is and how many planets and black holes it contains.

Similarly, another amazing study came out when NASA discovered that there is a planet called Super Earth many light years away from our Earth in space.

American space agency NASA has discovered a super-Earth located 137 light-years away from Earth, where the existence of life is possible.

Named TOI-715 b, this exoplanet (a planet outside the solar system) is 1.5 times the mass of our Earth and has a small orbit around its host star. The central star provides the planet with the right temperature to allow water, the most important element for life, to remain in liquid form. After the discovery of the planet, astronomers now plan to examine the properties of TOI-715 b

The planet was discovered by an international team of scientists led by the University of Birmingham. Scientists tried to locate TOI-715 b with ground-based telescopes after receiving signals from the TESS satellite launched in 2018.

In the study, the team found that TOI-715 b has a very short orbit around its star compared to Earth, and the planet completes one orbit in just 19 days.

According to Earth, a year on this planet is 19 days.
