Hello my people,

If you read Part 4, you will remember where we stopped. The white lady hugged Joy for quite a long time.

When she finally released her a little, she held Joy's face, looked into her eyes, and said softly:

*"Your voice brought back memories of my late daughter Grace."*

That was all she said. But those few words touched everyone. Joy simply smiled and held her hand.

Before we knew it, time had gone.

It was getting late into the night. The event had finished and everywhere was becoming dark. My colleagues and I looked at each other and said, *"We need to take the children back home now."*

We hurriedly put the children inside the car. Joy and the other children entered quickly. We did not waste time. We zoomed off back to Cherryfield Orphanage Home.

That night, we could not say a proper goodbye. There was no time. We just hugged them quickly and left.

But the next day, I had to come back.

I told my colleagues, "I cannot leave like that. I must go back and wish them well."

So the next day, I returned to Cherryfield.

When the children saw me, they ran to meet me. Joy ran first. She hugged me tightly.

We took a group photograph.

After the picture, we had a big goodbye hug. All of us, myself, my colleagues, the children, and the matron, we hugged one another like family.

I looked at them and told them:

*"My children, this is not goodbye forever. This is goodbye for now. Aunty Olachi will come back. I promise."*

And I meant it.

As I was going, some of them wept. Joy wept. Some of the other children wept. Even some of my colleagues wept. I also wept. It was not easy to leave them.

But I promised them that after my visit and training to another orphanage home, *Destined Children Orphanage Home in Kado Estate, Abuja*, I will come back to Cherryfield again. I will come back with more love, more music, and more gifts.

Cherryfield has changed me. Joy has changed me. I will not forget them.

My people, thank you for following this journey from Part 1 to Part 5. Thank you for reading, liking, commenting, and sharing.

If you have not read Part 1 to Part 4, please go and read them. And if Joy's story touched you, please share this Part 5 so others can read it.

Next, follow me to Destined Children Orphanage Home, Kado Estate, Abuja. Another story will begin there.

God bless you. God bless Cherryfield. God bless Joy.
