My History Teacher Back In High School.
His name was Mr. Aderoh, a very strict disciplinarian, just by the mention of his name and everyone adheres to all the school rules. On the other hand,though strict but he was the best teacher, he was humorous and in fact his subject was well perfored ever.
During his lessons, everyone had to be attentive or else you face it rough, his beatings were knockings on the head using his finger, i remember during night preps, he could tell who was sleeping, even if you're at the far end, one could could just get hit by a chalk on her face lols.
Then there was this i got into trouble, being that all the form fours were to be in class by 7pm after supper, i used to be a slow eater and so i had to get to class some minutes past 7, he was on duty and so i imagined the strokes of cane waiting for me together with kneeling down at the pavement. I had to look for a way to escape this.
I and my fellow classmate, we went at the back of the classroom to try to climb the wall and get in the class through the window because the door was already locked and us late comers were left out.
When our classmates noticed this, they started murmuring and giggling, but we still went ahead, the windows were so high but we tried, the other girl gave up but i didn't. I kept trying until i made it, i jumped and stepped on the locker then there i was on the floor, they all laughed so loud until the teacher heard them, he came along and asked what was the laughing matter, everyone kept quiet, we were each other's keeper when it comes to such in school. Now the girls gave me a name that am a movie super star lols.
During the meals, he used to help in serving at times, he could just see you through his spects whenever you risk and skip the line, he could come for you and throws you at the back of the line. He could really embarrass you.
When the bell rings and we hesitate to go for food, he used to tell us to run around the field several times with plates on our heads, the other classes could really laugh at us form fours, then after that punishment, he used to tell us to sit down on the floor with our legs stretched, then he tell us that we are now at the market place, everyone should sell her items lols.
The good side of him, he wascalso very understanding and when you had a problem be it in school work or anything, he was always ready to help out.
He made life in school really fun and enjoyable despite his rules, he moulded us to who we are today, he was the best!
