Real life example

She thought she had found love, but she was scammed into selling her parents old  house to raise money, losing everything overnight.

💢 She said, "He made me feel worthy of love, and then he made me lose everything."

She is thirty six years old, she is single, she owns a house and a job, and her parents have been pressuring her to find a man and get married.

She met a man on a dating platform—rational, considerate, successful, and proactively greeting her morning and evening.

The man own social media profile showed photos of him in a suit on business trips, gym check-ins, and a sophisticated lifestyle, with his location pinned to Singapore.

They had even video chatted and had also voice called every day, their conversations were all seeming very natural. The man had even proactively mentioned wanting to meet the woman own family and discuss the future with the woman.

— 📌 How was the scam set up?

After chatting for about three weeks, the man said he had a "quantitative trading account" and could guide her in investing.

"It is not a platform, it is managed by my internal team. No matter how much you invest, you are guaranteed a return of over 10%."

The woman tried investing 10,000 yuan, and a few days later, her account showed a profit of one thousand and two hundred reminbi yuan, which she had also successfully withdrew the one thousand and two hundred reminbi from the account.

Then, she successively invested fifty thousand reminbi, one hundred thousand reminbi, and two hundred thousand reminbi yuan, postponing several loan repayments, just wanting to "save money together to buy a house" as soon as possible.

— 📌 The night things completely spiraled out of control:

She sold her parents' own old house and, along with all of the money that she had on her own hand, transferred a total of over twelve million reminbi yuan into the platform.

The next day, the platform was inaccessible, and he had changed his profile picture; she could no longer contact him.

When she reported the scam to the police, she learned that they only said, "Yo have encountered a 'pig butchering scam,' there are too many of such cases or similar cases within these days."

Only when she was reviewing the transfer records did she discover that the perpetrator, from the video background to the rhythm of his speech, was using a "scripted script."

— 🧠 Key words in the "emotional plus investment" scam:

① Emotional build-up stage lasts at least two to four weeks, establishing the illusion that "I am your destined one."

② Fabricating a high-income job and a highly educated persona to present a "reliable" image.

③ Fake investment apps or platforms let you taste the initial success; small withdrawals are possible, but large withdrawals are blocked.

④ Ultimately, they induce you to sell assets, take out loans, or sell your house to complete the "final cut."

— ✅ A reminder for everyone: Anything involving "long-distance relationship plus  investment" is almost certainly a scam.

Do not be fooled by "idol-like lovers"; their scripts are more professional than you imagine.

Anyone emphasizing "Do not tell anyone, do not affect our relationship" is setting a trap.

Do not be ashamed to ask for help! Being scammed is not really due to low emotional intelligence, but because they have been doing the scam scheme for so long.

— 📝 In short:

Their script is about love, but what they are actually doing is a complete money scam.

also, investment may not rise and may collapse. Investment can not always rise without any one drop of money

investment is a very high risk money scam

if a friend ask you pay cash to invest, do not invest and breach that GOOD FRIEND immediately too
