Reasons why many Nigeria students fail JAMB after reading hard.

Follow

Every year, many Nigerian students read day and night for JAMB but still fail. I asked some of my seniors who scored low, and these are 3 reasons they told me.

 1. Reading Without Past Questions*

Many students read textbook from page 1 to last page, but they don't use past questions. JAMB repeats questions. If you study past questions from 2015 to 2025, you will see same pattern. Reading without past question is like farming without knowing the season.

 2. Fear and Panic in Exam Hall.

Some students know the answer but once they enter CBT center, fear catch them. They start shaking. Time will be going but they will be looking around. My advice: before JAMB, practice with JAMB CBT app on your phone everyday so you will be used to computer

 3. Focusing Only on One Subject.

Some students like Mathematics but hate English. So they read Maths 5 hours and English 30 minutes. But English is compulsory and it carries 100 marks. If you fail English, you fail everything. Share your reading time equally.

My elder brother failed JAMB first time because of fear, but second time he scored 267 because he practiced CBT and past questions.

If you are writing JAMB in 2027, start now with past questions and CBT practice.

What do you think is the main reason? Drop in comment.
