When I just started touring, I encountered this middle-aged looking Asian slay queen on one of my flights. I couldn't catch her country, nor can I remember her passport colour now. But if I remember correctly, that was on a flight from London. During check-in, she had flipped through the pages of her passport, and I had noticed lots of visa stickers and stamps.
She is well-traveled, and I remembered finding that really cool, having barely visited just about 5 countries myself at the time. I remember thinking to myself, "I never want to be a boring middle-aged woman, and as long as I am blessed with age, this is definitely me."
I mostly do not like applying for visas, especially if I have to go to some office with papers instead of submitting digitally. However, having these visa stickers on one's passport feels like collectibles to me. It's a similar feeling to collecting currencies, stickers, magnets, and postcards but customized with your picture and details.
