The "nothing" slogan

Countless times have I asked people question, always "why" and got "nothing"for an answer. Obviously, nothing happens for nothing, they too know about that but, it won't stop them from telling you that "it's nothing".

With time I grew to understand that most people respond "nothing" to a question when they don't want to talk about it. Mostly because it was a  personal issue. Some respond "nothing"when they can't explain;they don't know how to go about the explanation,they say "nothing" to get away from explaning.

I also say "nothing"when obviously there is something. I can even say that that's one of the most polite way to tell someone of.

We all know that nothing happens for nothing,yet we claim that  "it's nothing".
