Muara Bungo – Bungo Regent H. Dedy Putra, SH, M.Kn welcomed the arrival of Jambi Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Dr. Krisno Halomoan Siregar, SIK at Muara Bungo Airport, Wednesday (06/08/2025). The Jambi Police Chief's working visit was in the context of the groundbreaking activity (laying the first stone) for the construction of a Healthy and Nutritious Kitchen as part of the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG).
Upon arrival at the airport, the Jambi Regional Police Chief was officially greeted by the Bungo Regent, along with officials from the Bungo Police Department and the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda). The welcoming atmosphere was palpable, with the Regent extending a salute as a token of appreciation for the visit by the highest-ranking Jambi Regional Police officer.
Following the welcome, the group proceeded directly from the Officers' Dormitory to the Bungo Police Department in Sungai Mengkuang Hamlet, Rimbo Tengah District. There, the Jambi Regional Police Chief and the Bungo Regent held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a healthy kitchen that will support the MBG Program in Bungo Regency.
The Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) Program is a strategic effort to improve nutrition and well-being for school children, while also supporting government programs to reduce stunting rates and strengthen family resilience.
