Types Of Resurrection
All the dead in Christ will be resurrected and judged in one day.
There are two kinds of resurrection.
1. The resurrection of the believers: these are those who died in Christ. Meaning they believed in Jesus before they die. This judgement is judgement unto reward where they'd be rewarded for the good they did while alive. This is the first resurrection.
2. The resurrection of the unbelievers: This is the resurrection of those who did not believe in Jesus while they were alive. This resurrection is resurrection unto damnation where those who did not believe in Jesus will be totally annihilated - meaning ceased to be in existence. Those who did not believe in Jesus are not going to be burning for ever and ever, rather they're going to be totally annihilated. Burned off. This is according to the scriptures. The second resurrection.
You see, there's no where in the scriptures where it is mentioned that people are in heaven now. There is no one in heaven now except Jesus Christ who is the first man to be resurrected by God and given eternal life.
