Last month, I decided to track every expense carefully, and I discovered where my money was leaking. I was spending too much on small things that I thought did not matter. I made five simple changes and now I save almost $100 every month.

First, I stopped buying bottled water every day. I bought a reusable water bottle and a simple filter. Second, I stopped eating lunch at restaurants. Now I prepare my lunch at home and take it to work in a lunch box. It is healthier and cheaper.

Third, I stopped buying new clothes every month. I now buy quality second-hand clothes and they last longer. Fourth, I cancelled subscriptions I was not using, like streaming services I rarely watch. Finally, I stopped impulse buying online.

That $100 I save goes directly into my savings account. It may look small, but in one year it becomes $1,200. Small savings create big results over time.
