Hello My name is Carl Reneman I have been in customer service for many years whether it be foods or retails or sales. i've done it. My question for you is how do you provide amazing customer service and go above and beyond for customers. When a customer walks into a store always and I mean always green them between 4 to 5 seconds of them walking in. Ask them how can I help you if they are looking for a certain item take them where that item is. Example I work at big 5 so I get customers wanting shoes. I will take them to the shoe department and show them what my store offers. If they are looking for a shoe i will go and find that shoe. if by some chance I don't have that shoe or I can't find the right size I will find a shoe like the shoe they want and give them options in size. so if they want a shoe that's in a 11 and I don't have a 11 i'll take the 10 1/2 or 11/12 and let them choose. I will always give them time to try the shoe on and take a moment or two to decide. then i will check up and follow up to see if there's anything else they need. when I ring them out I will ask did you find everything if they yes. Continue checking them out. if they have a item for them that is heavy ask if you can help them take the merchandise to their car. if they say yes help them. if you do these steps you will find that you will feel glad you helped them. they are likely to return.
