The management of Topfaith International Secondary School Mkpatak, Akwa Ibom State has presented a cash prize worth One Thousand Dollars ($1000) to Master Valour Mbre-Inyang, for his brilliant performance in the 2022 West African Senior School Certificate Examination. The sixteen year old cleared the examination with nine distinctions (A1).
The chairman, Board of Governors of the institution, Dr. Emmanuel Abraham, while presenting the prize in a ceremony on Monday in the school, commended Valour for making the school proud. He said that it was a season of double celebration as the achievement came at a time when the institution was celebrating its 20 years anniversary. He explained that the monetary prize was instituted by the board of governors in order to encourage students to acheive success in their WAEC examination..
Dr. Emmanuel however praised him for his achievements in making all A-stars (A*s) in the five subjects he sat in Cambridge GCE, 343 out of 400 points in JAMB-UTME, 1480 out of 1600 points in Scholastic Aptitude Test as well as 8 out of 9 points in International English Language Test System.
